摘要: The initial cellular events that take place at the biomaterials interface mimic to a certain extent natural interaction of cells with extracellular matrix (ECM). adhering adsorbed soluble proteins, such as fibronectin (FN) and fibrinogen (FNG) tend re-arrange them in fibril-like pattern. Using model surfaces we have demonstrated this activity is abundantly dependent on surface properties materials, wettability, chemistry, charge topography. This raises possibility tissue compatibility materials connected allowance remodel substratum associated proteins presumably form provisional ECM. We further shown antibodies which bind β1 αv integrins (subunits FN FNG receptors respectively) may induce their linear rearrangement dorsal living – phenomenon related same early molecular fibrillar assembly. Because quantitative measurements revealed receptor dynamics strongly altered low compatible (hydrophobic) substrata hypothesized order be biocompatible, need adsorb loosely, i.e. way can easily remove organize matrix-like fibrils via coordinated functioning integrins. More recent studies fate some real biomaterial surfaces, including different rough titanium (Ti) hydroxyapatite (HA) cements biosensors confirmed point view. They also show dynamic cell-material might provide insight biocompatibility given material even predict its integration.
