Czochralski growth of Mn2SiO4(tephroite) single crystal and its properties

摘要: Abstract Crystals of Mn 2 SiO 4 (tephroite) have been grown by the Czochraslki pulling technique under an atmosphere nitrogen or with hydrogen. The crystals were pulled along [100] and [001] a rate 3–5 mm/h in sizes up to 20 mm diameter 100 length. Chemical optical absorption analyses revealed that contaminated about 0.1 wt% 3+ ions which had marked influence properties.
