摘要: According to an investigation by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), carbon dioxide is most significant greenhouse gas produced as a result of human activities. The amount emissions has be reduced meet global treaty. concentration and recovery from flue gases first important step in solving problem. Therefore this study, we employed simple vacuum swing adsorption (VSA) processes with zeolite 13X remove concentrate it desorption stream. We have been convinced feasibility VSA simulation program comparison experimental results. Both dual-bed three-bed explored simulation. feed contains 20% 80% nitrogen. Pressure drop adsorptive bed not considered because large adsorbent particle size. Instantaneous equilibrium assumed between solid phase phase, non-isothermal operation then considered. numerical method utilized lines adaptive grid points. estimation spatial derivatives made upwind difference, cubic spline approximation used estimate flow rates bed. concentrating effect process better than that process, but higher. For 63% can attained under optimum operating conditions, 67%.
