摘要: Objective Lipogranuloma is a rare inflammatory reactive process in the dermis and subcutis. We present summary of 6 cases lipogranuloma after facial cosmetic procedures. Study Design performed retrospective review including patient demographic data, clinical symptoms, appearance on computed tomography, treatment, pathology results, history Results In most cases, nodules were painless showed no significant growth. Computed tomography revealed ill-defined swellings buccal fat pad with heterogeneous density. Histopathological examinations numerous variable-sized empty microcysts surrounded by abundant lymphocytes foamy macrophages, characteristic features lipogranuloma. On further questioning, all patients that they had undergone some form procedure preceding months to years. Among autologous injection may have been main cause Conclusion Lipogranulomas can develop years procedures distant from sites. A thorough understanding patient's medical histopathologic characteristics are necessary make definite diagnosis allow appropriate treatment.
