摘要: The objective of this study was to estimate the effects different haplotypes casein genes on milk production traits in Italian dairy cattle. Traits interest were yields milk, fat, and protein, percentages fat protein milk. data included 728 multiparous records from 347 Holsteins 773 298 Brown Swiss cows. Records preadjusted for age parity, season calving, region, expressed as deviations herdmate averages. Twenty half-sib families represented each breed. Haplotype probabilities estimated animal phenotypes regressed these probabilities. Nine observed 17 identified among Swiss. For Holsteins, significant percentage, with some indication an effect percentage. Swiss, yield percentages. Effects strongest Correlation coefficients solutions across breeds tended be strong positive, indicating that same had similar 2 breeds. Although limited (<350 cows study), latter result may suggest complex itself are responsible observed, rather than loci physically linked either side cluster.
