摘要: The choice of parameters for a pulsed tokamak reactor with net electrical output 600 MWe is considered. physics and engineering assumptions are described in detail particular emphasis on the magnetic field design. This leads to 2 m minor radius, an aspect ratio 3.9, energy multiplication factorQ 13. sensitivity chosen various changes analyzed. A comparison made recent study reversed pinch reactor, showing that two containment systems appear have similar potential as fusion power sources.
