摘要: The effects of collective modes on the temperature relaxation in fully ionized, weakly coupled plasmas are investigated. A mode (CM) formula for electron-ion energy transfer is derived within random phase approximation and it shown how can be evaluated using standard methods. CM rates considerably smaller than based Fermi’s golden rule some parameters identical others. It connected to occurrence ion acoustic when they occur. Interestingly, occur also with very high electron temperatures; a regime, where Landau–Spitzer approach believed accurate.
