摘要: The transcriptional induction of heat shock genes is mediated by the transcription factor (HSF). We have investigated oligomerization state HSF from S. cerevisiae and find that it forms a trimer in solution when bound to DNA. Trimerization region that, like leucine zipper, characterized occurrence hydrophobic amino acids every 7 residues. propose three-stranded coiled coil.
