摘要: The ever-increasing demand for cloud services results in large electricity costs to providers and causes significant impact on the environment. This has pushed power their data centers with renewable energy sources more than ever. Among different ways of adopting sources, on-site generation using wind solar gained considerable attention by companies proved its potential reduce centers' carbon footprint costs. Efficient utilization is challenging due intermittency unpredictability. Cloud multiple Geo-distributed a region can exploit temporal variations grid price routing load suitable center order cost increase utilization. To achieve this goal, we propose fuzzy logic-based balancing algorithm that acts no knowledge future. We conduct extensive experiments case study based real world traces obtained from National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) Information Administration (EIA) US, Google cluster-usage. Compared other benchmark algorithms, our method able significantly without priori future price, availability, workloads.
