摘要: In this review of plasma polarimetry, first the theory is discussed in general, then exact analytic solutions evolution equation for polarization are presented, as well approximate solutions. Numerical integration also discussed. The design experiments considered taking into account maximum amount information which can be obtained from polarimetric measurements. Special attention devoted to techniques modulation (including both progressive and alternating modulation). Different alternative configurations described special interest because they realized far infrared allow a measurement phases rather than amplitudes. effects refraction briefly considered. Finally, combination polarimetry interferometry on same instrument discussed, including modulation.
