摘要: Abstract WHO Traditional Medicine Strategy 2014-23 recommended evidence-based healthcare (EBHC) education for traditional and complementary medicine (T&CM) professionals, including Chinese practitioners (CMPs). We evaluated the impact of a customized educational workshop on Hong Kong CMPs’ knowledge, attitude practice EBHC. Two validated instruments, Evidence-based Practice Questionnaire (EPQ) Inventory (EPI), were used to assess EBHC education. Paired t-tests compare scores before after workshop. Multiple linear regression was performed explore associations between changes in EPQ/EPI characteristics. CMPs who completed (n = 59) demonstrated significant improvements (p = 0.013) knowledge domains EPQ (p = 0.005). Significant also observed attitude, perceived behavioural control, decision making, intention behaviour EPI. had never received prior training showed larger magnitude improvement EPI (p = 0.032), making (p = 0.015), (p = 0.015) post-workshop. Our findings suggest that tailored is effective strengthening improving attitudes towards Future RCTs should be conducted affirm our findings. initiatives may consider incorporating this approach into CMP curricula, as well facilitating implementation routine practice.
