摘要: This article reviews two interrelated areas of research: the first is use TiO2-supported adsorbent materials as enhanced heterogeneous photocatalysts and their application to various reactions for organic pollutant removal from air water; second combination with TiO2 which aims efficiently regenerate using illumination. By reviewing both research, following topics are covered; (i) photocatalytic activation TiO2; (ii) related properties (iii) shortcomings processes; (iv) preparation methods composite TiO2/adsorbent performance; (v) common adsorbents applications (vi) regeneration economic operational issues; (vii) conclusions future outlooks. topic has not been previously reviewed such an extent, considerable knowledge can be gained assembling large number studies on adsorption-photocatalysis combinations. As such, this review provides guidance researchers working in fields environmental chemical engineering focussing new high performance porous materials.
