摘要: Abstract The statistical properties of the elastic distortion fields dislocations in deforming crystals are investigated using method discrete dislocation dynamics to simulate structures and density evolution under tensile loading. Probability distribution functions (PDF) pair correlation (PCF) simulated internal strains lattice rotations generated for strain levels up 0.85%. PDFs rotation compared with sub-micrometer resolution three-dimensional X-ray microscopy measurements magnitudes deformation length scales 1.0% 2.3% compression strained Cu single explore linkage between experiment theoretical analysis. simulations analyzed through determinations Nye Kroner tensors. significance parts tensors demonstrated, their relevance understanding fundamental aspects is discussed.
