On the dynamic instability of induced-migration unemployment in a dual economy

摘要: Abstract Previous attempts to integrate the Todarian analysis of rural-urban migration with dual economy growth model have relied upon an essentially static version hypothesis, inappropriate in a context. In this paper it is shown that when dynamic hypothesis used steady-state equilibrium, whilst characterised by positive unemployment rate typical models, unstable. These results policy implications which differ from those presented previous literature.
