摘要: Portable X-ray fluorescence (pXRF) technology can be used to collect large amounts of multi-element data rapidly at relatively low cost and has been widely embraced within the minerals industry. However, date, it difficult compare data-sets collected by different users or times because there is no standardized approach collection these data. The absence information on standardization calibration procedures raises concerns about a lack internal consistency precludes comparison data-sets. This paper seeks address this issue developing workflow for pXRF in an exploration mining setting. Two case studies highlight robustness possible applications following QA/QC protocols. A good correlation between conventional laboratory analyses demonstrated through analysis methods drill-hole Plutonic Gold Mine, Western Australia, fine-scale lithostratigraphic variation recognized grade control pulps from drill fan Agnew Australia. precision sufficient distinguish alteration signals background lithology, discern which are associated with gold mineralization.
