摘要: Abstract The structure of γδ resolvase complexed with a 34 bp substrate DNA has been determined at 3.0 A resolution. is sharply bent by 60° toward the major groove and away from catalytic domains recombination crossover point. C-terminal on third resolvase, which was disordered in absence DNA, forms an arm 3-helix DNA-binding domain opposite side N-terminal domain. arms wrap around minor central 16 bp, interact grooves near outer boundaries binding site. dimer asymmetric, particularly region, implying conformational adaptability that may be important for to different sites synaptosome. It also raises possibility sequential single-strand cleavage mechanism.
