摘要: Objective: To analyze whether psychosocial factors and physical activity are predictors of fruit vegetable intake in young adults attending college. Methods: This cross-sectional study included a representative sample students from public university the Brazilian Northeast (n=717). Fruit was measured by Food Frequency Questionnaire containing 21 items. The for behavior change, questionnaire, were: change strategy, self-efficacy, perceived barriers facilitators decision making, social support. level International Physical Activity Questionnaire. Multiple linear regression prediction model using significance 5% (p<0.05). Results: median 2.0 servings/day. In adjusted analysis, strategy (R²=0.31), self-efficacy (R²=0.03), friends' support (R²=0.02), (R²=0.03) explained 39% variance men. Behavior (R²=0.13), (R²=0.08), (R²=0.02) 26% women. would increase one serving every extra 35 47 minutes men women, respectively, practice day. Conclusion: main strategies, activity.
