摘要: Abstract A strong correlation between the chemical composition of kimberlites and their diamond grade has been established using statistical methods. The investigation is based upon major element analyses kimberlite samples, from which xenoliths have removed. samples represent highly diamondiferous, moderately slightly diamondiferous diamond-free rocks diatremes Yakutian Kimberlite Province. In total, comprises 3792 whole-rock 1176 determinations grade. By means analysis, were subdivided into 113 clusters. Regression analysis was carried out mean oxide concentrations clusters corresponding average values contents. combined use regression method with a break-point generalized nonlinear discrimination allowed to correctly estimate in more than 85–90% cases. relations are convincingly justified petrological point view. reliable petrochemical description variety, on averaging 25–30 or analyzing sample obtained as result sequential quartering much larger sample, allows safely its worldwide application potential.
