摘要: Observations of potato plant growth were made in plots containing a wide range cyst-nematode populations following the use resistant or susceptible varieties combined with fumigation treatments. Potato plants infested many cyst-nematodes grew more slowly, dwarfed, had smaller leaves and senesced earlier than few nematodes but Maris Piper, variety to Heterodera rostochiensis Woll. (pathotype A), was less affected that variety, Pentland Dell. Throughout their nematode-infested contained potassium foliage uninfested they probably efficient at taking up potassium. Although feeding abstracted significant amount nitrogen from heavily-attacked plants, percentage haulm dry matter little did not seem be major factor limiting growth. There no indication photosynthetic capacity per unit area lessened root systems by nematodes. Final yields decreased because
