摘要: Human corneas in vivo were exposed to a reduced partial pressure of atmospheric oxygen order determine the minimum for normal corneal hydration. Below critical range 11 19 mm Hg, cornea will hydrate and swell. The rate swelling increases as tension decreases. required by epithelium is about one tenth that available from atmosphere when eyes are open fourth palpebral conjunctiva closed.
