摘要: Talin is a high-molecular-weight cytoskeletal protein concentrated at regions of cell-substratum contact and, in lymphocytes, cell-cell contacts. Integrin receptors are involved the attachment adherent cells to extracellular matrices and lymphocytes other cells. In these situations, talin codistributes with concentrations integrins cell surface membrane. Furthermore, vitro binding studies suggest that bind talin, although low affinity. also binds high affinity vinculin, another points adhesion. Finally, substrate for Ca2(+)-activated protease, calpain II, which contact. To learn more about structure its involvement transmembrane connections between adhesions cytoskeleton, we have cloned sequenced murine talin. We describe model based on this sequence data. Homologies proteins define novel family submembranous cytoskeleton-associated all apparently plasma
