摘要: Background The use of opioids for chronic non-cancer pain has grown exponentially in the last 15 years. Associated with that, dramatic increases abuse and overdose deaths from opioid have been noted. Objectives Most stems legitimate prescriptions, putting onus on prescribers to responsibly pain. Very little evidence-based guidance exists those who wish prescribe at same time prevent abuse.
