摘要: High voltage DC transmission using source converters is a quite new technology for the interconnection of offshore wind farms. It facilitates variable frequency operation in farm grid, which can be used improving performance turbines. In this paper approach coordinated control converter based HVDC and turbines equipped with doubly-fed induction generators introduced. Variable to reduce machine slip. Thus lower rated sufficient same speed range. Alternatively, slip-limiting extending range while keeping rating at level. The basics are discussed, evaluated by simulation model MATLAB/Simulink.
