An adoption model of Software As a Service (SAAS) in SMEs

摘要: Software as Service (SaaS) model of cloud computing is currently one the most advanced technology innovations. Due to its scalability and network-based operation, SaaS offers opportunities for small medium enterprises (SMEs) take advantage latest without costly investment on IT infrastructure expertise. Despite benefits, SMEs' adoption not prevalent. In this paper, by synthesizing Diffusion Innovation theory, Technology-OrganizationEnvironment theory Protection Motivation we propose a conceptual which explains factors in SMEs. Our proposed extends focus protection motivation SMEs assessing risks addition technology, organisation, environment factors.
