Oriented PrBaCo2O5+δ thin films for solid oxide fuel cells

摘要: Abstract Oriented PrBaCo 2 O 5+δ (PBC) thin films are prepared on yttria-stabilized ZrO (YSZ) substrates with orientations (001), (110) and (111) via pulsed laser deposition (PLD). Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) experiments at various temperatures oxygen partial pressures reveal a good reduction reaction (ORR) performance of all the films. However, films' has considerable variance. PBC film deposited oriented YSZ had best performance, followed by (001). Experiments including high resolution X-ray diffraction (XRD), photoelectron (XPS), atomic force microscopy (AFM), computation, namely molecular dynamics (MD), used to elucidate substrate-determined orientations, examine morphology composition films, explain variance ORR performance. Our results support anisotropy vacancy pathway in a–b plane indicate that substrate can have great influence properties.
