摘要: Kempe et al. 1 coined the term ‘the battered child syndrome’ and subsequently a good many articles began to appear in literature. Because ‘battered’ refers essentially only physical beating it is somewhat limited accounting for maltreatment arising out of simple neglect. Therefore, more inclusive factually correct has come into being that abuse. For purpose this chapter on psychological aspects abuse still seems appropriate employ definition used by Helfer2 child.
