摘要: The core finishing of cast posts-and-cores after luting is routine in dental practice. However, the effects vibrations produced by rotary cutting instruments over cements are not well-documented. This study evaluated influence time intervals that elapsed between cementation and core-finishing procedures on tensile strength luted with zinc phosphate cement. Forty-eight bovine incisor roots were selected, endodontically treated, divided into four groups (n = 12): GA, control (without finishing); GB, GC, GD, subjected to at 20 minutes, 60 24 hours cementation, respectively. Root canals molded, resin patterns copper-aluminum alloy. Cast cement, applied according groups. tests performed a crosshead speed 0.5 mm/min for all groups, procedures. data one-way analysis variance (ANOVA) Tukey's test (α 0.05). No significant differences observed strengths experimental regardless interval steps. Within limitations present study, it was demonstrated did appear affect retention when cement used.
