On the performance modeling of opportunistic routing

摘要: In this paper we propose a discrete time Markov model to assess the improvement that may be achieved using opportunistic routing. We show our can used compute probability distribution and moments of number transmissions needed send packet from source destination in variety scenarios. use some routing performance measures network with shadowing radio propagation different topologies, varying maximum candidates by algorithm. Our easily extended evaluate other aspects not covered paper. Therefore, believe yields simple, yet flexible powerful tool protocols.
