摘要: The evolutionary structural optimization (ESO) method is based on the simple concept of gradually removing underutilized material and at same time adding efficient to structure. As a result, resulting shape evolves towards an optimum. This paper presents latest developments ESO in generating innovative structures, including optimal design bridges, periodic structure with multiple materials reinforcement underground tunnels.
