摘要: An analytical and numerical study of the transient current density induced on a perfectly conducting circular cylinder has been carried out. Both TE TM incident plane waves with impulsive time dependence are considered. Complete closed form expressions for at all points values obtained by functional interpolation both large small asymptotic solutions. The complete should he useful in future radar scattering problems approximating behavior portions complex scatterer. results presented "snapshots" specific instants time. interpreted terms specular reflection creeping waves. wave pulses seen to be continuation generated illuminated surface; their propagation into shadow region is highly dispersive phenomenon. natural mode spectrum have discrete continuous components response very times determined latter.
