摘要: Objective. Hepatitis B vaccines are usually administered on a schedule of 0, 1 to 2, and 6 months. Longer intervals between the second third doses have been studied, but effectiveness hepatitis vaccine at >2 months first not studied. Our objective was compare antibody response in recipients Engerix-B 12-month 0-, 1-, 6-month intervals. Methods. A total 389 children, 5 through 16 years age, were randomized receive (10 mg) either or 12-, 24-month Blood drawn before month after dose. Results. Immediately dose vaccine, 92.3% children who received 88.8% had surface (anti-HBs) antigen concentrations ≥10 mIU/mL. Of schedule, 95% according protocol versus 90% those schedule. The geometric mean anti-HBs concentration just for (117.9 mIU/mL) somewhat lower than that (162.1 mIU/mL). One dose, >98% all mIU/mL high observed both groups: 5687 3159 Body mass index correlated inversely with final concentration, age factor adjustment body index. Discussion. is highly immunogenic. Providers should consider this alternate immunization low risk immediate exposure infections. B, antigen, immunization, adolescent.
