摘要: Urbanization and urban landscape characteristics greatly alter plant animal species richness abundances in negative positive directions. Spiders are top predators, often considered to be sensitive habitat alteration. Studies environments frequently focus on ground-dwelling spiders or built structures, leaving aside foliage spiders. Effects of habitat, type structure local spider composition, relative abundance were evaluated green patches a temperate city South America. We also assess whether Salticidae could an indicator group for the broader community environment. sampled with G-VAC (aspirator) Cordoba city, Argentina, urban, suburban exurban habitats (18 sites; six per habitat) traits assessed. Overall, was richer than however, at site level (but not total assemblage) significantly lower sites. Species composition moderately differed between Results indicate that spaces low impervious surface cover, coverage trees, herbaceous vegetation vertical least up 1 m height contribute higher spiders, being more overall effects. In addition, can predict 74% recorded may used as diversity bio-indicators this climatic region.
