摘要: The roundoff-noise outputs from two transpose configurations, each for the cascade and parallel forms of a digital filter, are analyzed case uncorrelated roundoff noise fixed dynamic range. Corresponding configurations compared on basis variance, or total average power, peak spectral density output noise. In addition to providing general computational techniques be employed in choosing an appropriate configuration these results also indicate useful "rules thumb" relating this choice configuration. Included indications good (although not necessarily optimum) sequential orderings pole-zero pairings second-order sections comprising form. Computational presented which that analysis is quite accurate useful.
