摘要: The shape of the newly described torocyte red blood cell endovesicles induced by octaethyleneglycol dodecylether (C12E8) is characterized. A possible explanation for origin and stability observed suggested. Three partly complementary mechanisms are outlined, all originating from interaction C12E8 molecules with membrane. first a preferential intercalation molecule into inner membrane layer, resulting in invagination which may finally close, forming an inside-out endovesicle. second preference C12E8-induced inclusions (clusters) small local curvature would favour endovesicle large regions or even negative mean curvatures, inclusion being defined as complex composed embedded some adjacent phospholipid significantly distorted due to presence molecule. zero also lead nonhomogeneous lateral distribution their accumulation endovesicles. third mechanism orientational ordering high deviator.
