摘要: Alcohol and other drug (AOD) use is a common feature of modern social work practice. Concerns about the problematic such substances cross all areas practice, including adults' children's care. In England, surveys have highlighted workers' experiences AOD education during their qualifying training. However, this study sought perspectives educators. Its primary aim was to explore nature extent on AODs programmes in England. Using an online survey tool, programme leads were invited take part (n = 157). Fewer than half responded (40%, n = 63). Initial findings appeared positive suggesting that 94% responding provided some teaching learning AODs. Further analysis revealed significant variation what taught depth coverage.
