摘要: This study investigates the impacts of high international oil prices on bioethanol and corn markets in US. Between 2007 2008, major grain crops had increased sharply, reflecting rise prices. These dual price shocks caused substantial harm to global economy. Employing a structural vector auto-regression model (SVAR), we analyze how increases could impact demand for corn, which is used as feedstock The results indicate that an increase would short run stabilize long exports decline. Consequently, policies supporting biofuels should encourage use co-products feed development marginal land mitigate price.
