摘要: Lung cancer is the leading cause of death and has a poor prognosis. A better understanding lung biology improvements in treatment are strongly needed. Increasing evidence indicates that stem cells (CSCs) therapeutic target for cancer. The CSC hypothesis based on simple concept cancers contain similar hierarchy with respect to self-renewal, differentiation innate therapy resistance. Investigating putative CSCs will greatly improve our origins may lead novel approaches selectively targeting these cells. During last decade, class molecules, small non-protein-coding RNAs, was found be involved carcinogenesis. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) group RNAs now established as important regulators gene expression. They key players various critical cellular processes such proliferation, cell cycle progression, apoptosis differentiation. Recent studies have shown several miRNAs roles normal functions during development CSCs. Emerging also illustrates control many signaling pathways regulate Targeting regulation potential provide miRNA-based strategies oncology. This chapter highlights recent findings crucial role maintenance, growth behavior CSCs, thus indicating powerful prognostic strategies.
