摘要: This paper presents a 40000-year-long high-resolution mangrove record from sediments of Core 18300, 18302 and 18323 on the continental shelf southern South China Sea reconstructs coastline changes Sunda Shelf since last 40000 years. In period Marine Isotope 3, old had low sea level, it was partly exposed. Flourishing vegetations grew exposed land. Mangroves developed along coastline. On Last Glacial Maximum, level dropped greatly, moved inner to outer shelf, Old Land further, lowering induced gradual disappearing mangroves Shelf. And pioneer vegetation ferns covered broadly land immediately. At time Deglaciation, rose drown again. were emergent again quickly.
