摘要: The use of a suitable methodology to quantify the phytate phosphorus (Pphy) content in both feed and excreta from broilers is required enable accurate calculation catalytic efficiency phytase supplemented feed. This study was conducted compare 2 analytical methodologies (colorimetry also high-performance liquid chromatography with refractive index detector) order calculate by utilizing results that shown be most appropriate. One hundred twenty were distributed (4+1)×2 factorial arrangement, corresponding 4 diets equally deficient P increasing levels (0, 750, 1,500, 2,250 units activity – FTU per kg feed) plus 1 positive control diet without phytase, supplied male female birds. result indicated colorimetric an extraction ratio 1:20 (mass sample g:volume solvent extractor mL) adequate. There no interaction between level sex (p>0.05). Males consumed 12% more Pphy than did females (p 0.05) excretion retention coefficient Pphy. increase reduced (linear, p<0.01) excretion. greatest estimated at 87.85% when contained 1,950 FTU/kg (p<0.01), indicating it possible reduce inorganic formulation amount equivalent present feed, which, this research, corresponds decrease 2.86 g P/kg
