摘要: Abstract Two methods of system identification n degrees-of-freedom nonlinear structural dynamic systems are studied and applied to the hydrodynamic coefficient matrices associated with drag linear inertia forces appearing in equations motion offshore structures subjected wave forces. These two methods, being essentially state estimation, use Kalman filtering algorithms which can be parameter estimation problems by regarding each parameters involved as an augmented variable. One these uses extended filter while other was iterated filter-smoother. Analytical simulation studies performed for on basis artificially generated input output observations under various noise conditions.
