摘要: Abstract The intraspecific similarities and differences among the various polycyclic isopentenoids (sterols pentacyclic triterpenes) which occur in leaf tissue surface wax from three varieties of flowering Sorghum bicolor ; G499 GBR, BOK 8 IS 809, have been determined. exhibited phenotypic characters (e.g. shoot height) pest resistance. While sterol amyroid compositions were similar varieties, significant evident qualitative distribution migrated hopanoids. One variety, is phenotypically short resistant, contained a single hopanoid, sorghumol Alternatively, other two both tall one-G 499 GBR-resistant, other-BOK 8-susceptible, mixture four Δ 9(11) -migrated hopanoids, i.e. its stereoisomers, 5(6) hopanoid simiarenol. ketones corresponding to hopanoids detected ketone was apparently absent. In contrast graminaceous plants, predominant C-3 derivatives did not include methyl ethers, but esters polar conjugates. Significant apparent amounts triterpenes total amount sterols extracted leaves (including wax) varieties. Since S. varietal occurred only (found mature leaves) it would appear that triterpenes, unlike sterols, greater applicability as chemotaxonomic indices for relationships sorghum.
