Fast restoration in optical mesh network

摘要: A wavelength division multiplexed optical network has a restoration process to re-route one or more of the wavelengths, by dynamically determining possible routes, and re-routing each along chosen routes. distributed dynamic search for routes down layer, gives faster scalable than reconfiguring routing tables enables much better utilisation bandwidth using predetermined paths.
