摘要: Cold atoms may travel along narrow waveguides with a strong transverse confinement, perpendicular to the longitudinal propagation axis, in given oscillation mode and having well-defined internal state. A laser beam logitudinal axis change state and/or mode. For weak transversal coupling (Lamb-Dicke regime) on resonance an atomic transition, excitation occurs at 'Rabi resonances' - i.e., when Rabi frequency coincides transition between modes. This provides route for atomic-state preparation control waveguides.
