摘要: The use of gold nanorods as contrast agents for the optical hyperthermia cancer is receiving ever more attention. However, their selective delivery to tumors still remains an outstanding problem. In most cases, identifi cation suitable molecular targets complicated by lack qualitative differences between healthy and cells. focus prior work has mainly been on cells per se. Instead, here, aim moved secondary fi ngerprints that arise in response microenvironment. One common feature a combination poor oxygenation high oxygen consumption, which generates hypoxia. Hypoxic need switch anaerobic metabolism, accompanied multitude processes, including expression transmembrane isoforms carbonic anhydrases. Here, are conjugated with inhibitors these enzymes, order recognize hit hypoxic cellular uptake, cytostatic activity capacity impart sensitization particles shown display strong dependence environmental oxygenation.
