Tone-interleaved coded modulation scheme for MIMO OFDM communication

摘要: A MIMO OFDM system for TICM is provided. The tone-level interleaver at the transmitter uses a block of N T symbols as its basic unit. This results in different decoding architectures receiver. main advantage to merge soft-bit demapping into Viterbi algorithm. Taking trellis structure inherent algorithm, can have lower computational complexity and potentially better performance than BICM with LSD detector vector demapper. Although interleaving may not spatial diversity gain, affected 802.11n environments.
