Flat direction condensate instabilities in the MSSM

摘要: Coherently oscillating scalar condensates formed along flat directions of the MSSM potential are unstable with respect to spatial perturbations if is flatter than φ2, resulting in formation non-topological solitons such as Q-balls. Using renormalization group we calculate corrections φ2 for a range and show that generic feature MSSM. Exceptions arise an experimentally testable stop gluino masses when there large admixtures stops direction scalar.
