摘要: Micro-electromechanical system has been used for a wide application in various engineering practices. However, failure related to damage of such often comes about during this extensive the under complicated operating conditions. This work studied post-buckling behavior an elastic micro-plate in-plane compressive loads. Based on modified couple stress theory and Talreja’s tensor-valued internal state model, novel model considering size effect is developed work. The nonlinear governing equations were derived by applying principle minimum potential energy solved via finite difference method iteration method. evolution law employed accumulation while equilibrium path simultaneously predicted. effects material length scale parameter, initial geometric deflection, aspect ratio, thick-span as well behaviors are discussed detail.
