摘要: The interaction of an interface between two gases and strong expansion is investigated the effect on flow in tube examined. Two mechanisms for unsteady Pitot-pressure fluctuations found test section are proposed. first mechanism depends Rayleigh-Taylor instability driver-test gas presence a expansion. second reflection from interface. Predictions compare favorably with experimental results. theory expected to be independent absolute values initial filling pressures.
