摘要: The branching and distribution patterns of the superior mesenteric artery were studied in 10 adult bullfrogs (Rana catesbeiana) after injection coloured latex solution into vasculature. abdominal digestive organs bullfrog mainly supplied by coeliac artery, both which arose as a common trunk, coeliacomesenteric from aorta. stomach, liver, gallbladder pancreas, whereas first branch was splenic with other branches supplying greater part intestine. apex intestinal loop defined region trunk its constituted ‘nested formation' had following characteristics. (1) distributed to sides apex, regions younger located more distant than those older branches. (2) Two directed towards frequently made stem arising trunk. second secondary could be since 1 also nested formation primary apices. divided 4 types on basis their pattern course. It is suggested that remnant vascular tadpole, possesses double spiral mode convolution, probably arteries latent form.
