摘要: This paper argues that there is an emerging opportunity for artificial intelligence researchers: the development of technologies enable a new type “proactive health care system” continuously monitors “healthy patients” in their homes and motivates lifelong healthy behavior self-awareness. The components system, which would augment but not replace traditional care, could be funded entirely by consumers without reliance on financially-burdened industry. A research prototype one component such system described: preventative monitoring congestive heart failure uses “just-in-time,” context-sensitive questioning. illustrates how sensors home used entertainment communication purposes might also employed ‐ at negligible additional cost applications.
